During peak hours, particularly Saturday evenings, the pub can become overwhelmingly busy, leading to longer wait times for food and drinks.
Some guests note occasional inconsistency in service during particularly busy times, although staff remain friendly and eager to help.
The interior, while cozy, may feel cramped when filled to capacity, which can limit the comfort for larger groups or families.
Limited dessert options may disappoint those craving something sweet after a hearty meal, even though the available treats receive positive feedback.
Called in today for Sunday roast. The food was presented very well and delicious. The staff were so friendly and professional and extremely helpful. I would recommend this place.
Really enjoyed my visit here ,the service was brilliant, the atmosphere was just perfect for a small group ,food was really tasty and nicely presented, nice place to meet friends and is also dog friendly 😀
I love the Navigation Inn - always so welcoming. Their food is great and I like the fact that they have a good selection of desserts, as well as typical hearty 'pub grub', as often that's all I want as an energy boost when out walking along the beautiful surrounding tow/footpaths, fields & riverside. They are also very dog friendly, which is a winner for me. The inside is traditonal & cosy. The outdoor, waterside terrace is perfect on a nicer day. Thank you
Called in tonight after returning off holiday as we were pleased it had reopened and we were not disappointed. The newly decorated pub was very contemporary, the landlady very friendly and she introduced use to her chef partner. We decided to eat and we were not disappointed. The food was superb. The steak and ale pie, and steak special along with rump steak could rival any top restaurant in the village. The atmosphere in the pub was excellent and buzzy and we wish them all the best. Please visit and give this young couple local support.
Lovely canal side pub with pleasant helpful staff, nice food and decent lager in a pub which gas the same name as my canalside local. Twice visited now and if here again for a night will visit again 👍
A nice pub to take a break from your daily routine. Tasty food, beautiful surroundings and, above all, a quiet place with an excellent location by the water.
